That ... looks like a Prius.
Everything that's been covered in snow while there was considerable wind looks like a Prius.

Great point. There's way more to this comment than I think you might realize. The Prius was designed to reduce drag. In other words, it was designed by wind. In other other words, it seriously was designed by mother nature.

Not to sound cocky, but I might have been aware of this.
There is of course always something good in thinking some more; the reason for Insight, Prii, XL1 etc. to share the same basic shape is that it's the only shape* (*that I know of) that allows you to provide relatively ample room in a compact shell on the road while still being somewhat effective in terms of aero.
If snow lands on a Prius while there's sufficient wind, it won't even build up enough to change the shape; it'll just cover the surface. It's certainly the right shape then.
